The World Youth Muay Thai Championship was held in Kuala Lumpur
In Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, the Muay Thai World Youth Championship was launched with a solemn ceremony attended by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yakoob. Azerbaijan was represented by 6 young athletes in the championship attended by more than 3000 athletes from 110 countries.
Azerbaijan's young athletes have achieved great success in the youth muay thai championship held in Kuala Lumpur. All the athletes representing Azerbaijan won medals in the championship, which was attended by more than 3000 athletes.
Khayal Aliyev in the 60 kg weight class and Nihad Shoranov in the 48 kg weight class won the 1st place, Natig Aliyev in the 42 kg weight class won the 2nd place, Murad Nuruzade in the 54 kg weight class and Izzet Hasanov in the 48 kg weight class and Ravan Gasimov in the 75 kg weight class won the 3rd place.
